Emra Islek, Turkish photographer living in London and Rosalba Rizzo, Italian director, actress and author living in Arles, two artists facing the tragedy of millions of people shipwrecked in the Mediterranean.

 

Two similar sensibilities, two different artistic mediums, the meeting of image and word to question this ancient sea, primordial divinity, initiator of life and culture, which has become, in spite of itself, the tomb of many desperate human beings.
